Olympic gold medal stud Ryan Lochte is already diving into Hollywood — he’s doing a cameo on 90210 and he shot a segment on E!’s Fashion Police.

But, the 28-year-old single swimmer says he has his eyes on The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars. So RumorFix went to the only person in America who’s done both shows for advice.

Jake Pavelta tells RumorFix, “Tell him to call me.”

Jake recommends the 11 time Olympic medalist pick DWTS over The Bachelor. “

“Dancing with the Stars is something that his mind is geared toward — you know — the intense training,” Jake says. The Bachelor hunk, who made it seven weeks on DWTS, adds, “Olympians do really well in DWTS and it’s a wonderful platform to launch a Hollywood career, so much more  than The Bachelor.”

He points to Erin Andrews, who now is signing multimillion dollar contracts, and Nicole Scherzinger, who had a career surge after she won the Mirror Trophy.

Jake doesn’t think Ryan is having a hard time finding a girl to date (neither do we), so he doesn’t think The Bachelor is the right fit for him.

But if the Olympic hunk has his mind set on the reality dating show, Jake tells us, “He’ll get in a lot of hot tubs and he’s evidently comfortable with the water, so there’s always room for one more.”

And, is it a coincidence? Ryan and The Bachelor host Chris Harrison were at the Expendables 2 premiere Wednesday night and took a photo together — Guess what they talked about?
