Hollyscoop got duped!
The celebrity website it touting an exclusive that Chris Brown is going to fight Drake in a boxing in a charity match at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas on September 22.
The report goes on to say that they will fight in three one-minute rounds in 24 ounce gloves.
RumorFix was shocked when we read this story, because we broke the story that Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman had offered the bad boys of rap an opportunity to box — and we have heard repeatedly that the rappers would not do it (although Chris told our camera guy “Yeah, I would.”)
RumorFix reached out to both camps who tell us the report is false!
When asked if Brown is participating in a boxing match, his rep said, “No. Never was. This is a sad attempt at PR for the people who were/are promoting it.”
A source close to Drake also tells us, “The story is false!”
