Celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were slammed in the press recently after checking out Broadway’s Book of Mormon; some claimed that the pair were rude, coming late, leaving early and using the event as a PR stunt.

Fortunately, a woman seated next to Kim during the play is coming to RumorFix to set the record straight. The theatergoer, named Lauren, says that all the unpleasant rumors about Kimye are bogus.
“A good friend of my husband and I is one of the executive producers of Book of Mormon … and he was happy to see the press about the show because [Kim and Kanye] had attended, however, he mentioned that there were articles circulating that they were ‘rude,’ ‘came in late,’ that this was ‘just a photo op’ and ‘they left early’ … Kim and Kanye came in on time and left when the show ended just like everyone else in the theatre. They even stayed for the curtain call and stood up and clapped. They were nothing but polite and respectful the entire show,” Lauren explains.

“I wanted to let it be known, for the record, that they were nothing but humble and well mannered the entire show … they genuinely wanted to see it,” she continues.

And to back up our source’s claim, we were given a picture taken inside the theater. “I have attached a picture that was taken during the curtain call of Kim and I. Proof that they stayed the entire show and most certainly did not leave early. It was nice of her to take the time to take a picture with me when she could have said no. Nice people! My husband and I have the utmost respect for the two of them.”
Well then … we guess that’s a rumor fixed with an exclamation mark.
