Cory Monteith Illness Shuts Down Glee Production — Exclusive

Production on the Glee set was shut down Thursday because of a health issue with Cory Monteith, RumorFix has learned exclusively.

A rep for Glee tells RumorFix that “It happens from time to time — what we try to do is rearrange the work so we can shoot around the talent. But in this case, Cory was in all of the scenes.”

An insider tells RumorFix Cory had an intestinal problem, which may explain why he was a no show to his girlfriend Lea Michele’s birthday party Wednesday night at Everleigh restaurant in West Hollywood.

Confirming his absence, the Glee hunk tweeted,”happy birthday @msleamichele! hope this was the best one yet :) ”

Lea ended up spending the birthday with a few girlfriends including Jamie Lynn Sigler.

We understand production continued Friday, but we haven’t confirmed whether Cory is back on set.

        That was Wednesday. This article is talking about Cory being sick on Thursday. And the extras you mention are the dancers. They could have had another crew filming those scenes. You are the fail.
