In Touch magazine is claming Today Show anchor Matt Lauer is unhappy with NBC’s decision to include American Idol host Ryan Seacrest in covering the Olympics. But a source close to the show tells RumorFix this rumored tension between the two is completely false!

Ryan recently signed a two-year deal with NBC Universal that requires he contribute to NBC’s prime-time coverage of the Olympics, as well as serve as “special correspondent” for Today. The 37-year-old also will contribute to NBC prime-time news and produce and contribute to NBC entertainment programming.
