I’m confused, I could have sworn Alex thought what went on at the wine tasting with Luann and Ramona was fine and that Luann actually was trying to help Ramona promote her wine. It sounds like Alex has changed her mind about that.

On a different note, I don’t think Heather was at all harsh or inappropriate with Sonja. If I were in her position and Sonja showed up late, and acted like a diva while I was doing her a huge favor, I’d be very annoyed. I don’t know why Alex thinks she was being unfair.

I loooooooooooooooved this weeks episode. It was episodes like this that hooked me originally. It is amazing how catty and selective memories become when people are confronted. Wowser. The whole Tampon thing was DISGUSTING and could have been edited. Ick.

I believe Heather had all the right to be upset with Sonja..she is doing her a favor..so why be such a diva? I agree that what Luann & her boyfriend did to Ramona was wrong & sneaky..but Aviva needs to let it go..now she feels the need to defend Ramona..especially by saying to Heather it’s not nice to call Ramona crazy to Ramona’s husband..well she was acting crazy!! I don’t believe Heather treats Ramona bad at all..I think Heather does not have time to deal with her craziness therefore she puts her in her place.

It’s not sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is unwelcome sexual advances or comments made by a superior or employer in the workplace, especially when continued employment is in danger.
Avivas father is obnoxious and crass but he is not in a position to harass them since they are able to leave his presence at anytime without fear of losing employment.

Aviva needs to STOP bringing up the wine tasting… jeez. Luanne knew what she was doing and it was hilarious. Ramona pimps that wine as hard as she possibly can, saying she drinks it every day and yet… blindfolded she thought it “needs more fruit” . To me that’s not mean spirited it’s just telling someone “If you’re gonna develop a product and pimp it nonstop, put your money where your mouth is”. Ramona could have ended the game right away if she recognized HER OWN wine… but she couldn’t and so everyone is laughing at her.

Have you ever had the essence test before you’ve drunk wine? Obvoiusly not and you’re talking out of ignorance. It completely overwhelms your taste buds, plain water tastes like weak lemonade or coconut water depending. They fully expected Ramona to totally trip up and be unable to recognize her wine, they were banking on her criticising it. That’s why it was such a mean despicable trick. It’s a miracle due to her wine nose professionalism that Ramona did so well considering. Jacques needs to be deported.

Heather is the most authentic of the group, and she IS very attractive. (Not everyone has to have plastic surgery to be a real beauty.) I think “Sonya in the City” is on sauce because of the bankruptcy problems she faces. However, that doesn’t condone her ungratefulness. Heather has done this fabulous gesture for her for free! Does anyone really enjoy watching Ramona scream? I don’t.

Did the Countess and her boyfriend set Ramona up? You bet! Do I give a damn? No! I believe that Bravo set up Aviva to question Luann and . It appears that Bravo is doing to Luann what they did to Jill last year. They elect someone to take the fall each season, because viewers need to see antagonism. My husband and I chuckled last week when the Princess got all PC on LuAnn, the Indian. That was last week’s Bravo setup. Ahh RHONY, reality TV: all handcrafted by Bravo.

Heather had every right to be upset with Sonja. Heather and the others involved werent being paid by Sonja, so for Sonja to be an hour late and then balking at being hurried along is wrong. As for the difference of opinion, (if she were a paying client) thats what they get paid for…their ideas. Heather should present Sonja with a bill for all the time she put into helping her and make clear there will be no more free help. And Ramona needs to just shut up and stay out of things that dont concern her.

Good point, why did Sonja go to Heather and ask for her help if Ramona is the expert? She could have asked Ramona but she didn’t. I was thinking the same thing that since they are all doing this for free she should be more cooperative and grateful. Ramona probably wouldn’t do it all for free, she probably just figured her comments and input were the free part and everything else, the whole team was Sonja’s problem.   Sonja quickly found out that the “favor” was for the benefit of heather not kindness directed at her. Bravo told her how eager heather was to have them film at the studio as long as they showed off all her staff. It had nothing to do with Sonja, a dozen people here have already told you that, stop being so naive. Heather is a ruthless viper when it comes to advertising her brand, it was worth the fake favor to Sonja to get what she wanted. She would have paid tens of thousands, way more than Sonja would have given her as a client for that job, to pay for that infomercial on Bravo which she got for free! I think a lot of the problem here with some viewers is they have no idea how business works. There is no such thing as free favors on TV, LOL, anything you see free on TV was given to a show IN EXCHANGE for free advertising that’s why they tell you who supplied the “free” stuff. Ramona needs therapy. She has no filter, and not just about what not to say but sometimes she just needs to be quiet. She has a huge over inflated image of herself because she feels the need to tell everyone what she’s thinking all of the time as if people need to hear her! I wish one of the other ladies would slap the hell out of her and tell her to shut up! It’s common sense to know when to back off, like when Sonja has meetings and photo shoots. Ramona lacks class. The thing is … it really seems like Ramona has no ill intent towards people. Crazy? Sure. Annoying? You betcha. But she’s not malicious. Her talk to Aviva about traveling without husband is an example. Who loved the yoga scene with Ramona and Avery (the short clip squeezed between commercials)? If anyone needed yoga’s help to calm their inner monologue, it’s Ramona. Even the intro breathing exercise was hard for her because her mouth was moving constantly. Then with more challenging poses … Ramona: How long do I have to hold this pose? One thing that stood out for me this episode was that Heather
has to constantly mention she is busy and has better things to do. I think she’s
trying to act like how she’s thinks a New Yorker should act and fails miserably,
she just comes across as insecure. Keep an eye on that for future episodes, I’d
like to know your thoughts on that.

They have a point about Jacques’ accent, it’s like he’s been

  Well I overreacted, but Alex is spending much of her vlog defending those two. She started off by saying that Heather was “punishing” Sonja right away at the shoot. Oh come on! From everything that I saw, or that the editors showed us, Heather was tense about the whole thing but not punishing. And Sonja was beyond rude. I feel like Alex is always looking for some excuse, real or made up, to get her friends off the hook for their horrible on camera behavior. Saying Ramona is “reality gold” doesn’t really soften or her off the rails, adolescent behavior. I think the most enjoyable people to watch on a reality show are just intelligent, interesting people with normal eccentricities and quirks, like Alex and Simon. I guess the problem with the reality TV thing is that nobody can stay that way very long with a camera in their face. I just wish Alex would talk more about the experience of it all instead of defending Sonja and Ramona all the time. I think Alex is lovely and would be a great news producer/presenter, if she wanted to be one.

    Are you crazy? If it wasn’t for Ramona and Sonja’s antics there would be no show! That’s why they survived andy’s night of the long knives at the end of last season. George is good comic relief but it’s the housewives that are the focus. You want more long segments of heather complaining that emailing people will make her late for 5 meetings so her assistant’s assistant has to handle that as well as buy her tampons? Or how about 40 minutes of Luann cuddling with Pepe le Pew’s beak at a sub par french bistro? That’s what your typical episode would be like without the blonde dynamic duo. They’re the true stars of the show, the ones least aware of their images on camera, which is why they’re so fun to watch! Heather is always adjusting her head’s angle to the camera to try to make her nose look smaller, wearing the Jimmy Durante hats doesn’t help her problem, LOL!

      I don’t agree. I think people are going to have enough quirks and small personal conflicts to keep the show interesting. I don’t think the show needs “stars”. Audience members are always going to identify with different housewives according to their own preferences and value systems. Ramona and Sonja are waaay out of control lately and I don’t find it so fun to watch. Both of them used to have fun personalities. What happened? I always have liked reality shows because I find people interesting on a day to day level. Reality TV used to be like getting to know your slightly nutty neighbors or someone else’s slightly nutty neighbors. Sure people were presenting as “characters”, thanks to editing but they were also being themselves. Yep, I would rather see people engaged in ordinary activity with the ordinary tensions that come up.

      If you think simon was engaged in ordinary activity then you have a very strange sense of reality. Until Ramona or Sonja show up wearing a plastic nehru jacket to a cocktail party they’ll never top simon the whack job. If you tolerated him you have no right to complain about anyone else! Talk about every scene being fake and contrived for the cameras, his hypnotism and subsequent disgust at the weird substance in his mouth (puhlease!), the black and red room that looks like it came out of the props department of a b grade vampire whorehouse movie, the unnecessary speedos and more effeminate comments than liberace, paul lynde and charles nelson reilly rolled into one and then the leering predatory act where he stares at alex when she’s trying on clothes like she’s 12 and he’s 65, talk about creepy!

      But you are talking about Simon’s sense of style more than anything, which by NY standards isn’t really that bizarre anyway. Furthermore, you are very mean and judgmental about it, as if having an out there sense of style or being outside the prescribed notion of masculine is some kind of character defect. Why should it be? He’s not hurting anybody by being who he is. I’ll agree that Alex and Simon did start to progressively play more and more to the cameras, as everyone seems to do on these shows. (and probably encouraged by producers). But nothing Alex or Simon ever did on camera was disgusting or disturbing. Ramona and Sonja are getting close to both in my books and yeah, while it may fulfill some peoples’ desire for a big circus spectacle, I don’t see that it’s necessary or even that entertaining.

Do you think that Sonja’s TMI moment in the ladies room was a stunt to prove that she is still able to have children and that it was planned and connected to rumors that her divorce was caused by the fact that she could no longer have children? And have you heard the rumors that Carole isn’t really a princess, that, in fact, the father of her late husband relinquished his title?

Aviva did the show to raise awareness for her charity! So much better than doing it for hawking pinot or shapewear. So sad that those prosthetics are so prohibitively expensive.
