Wednesday, 17-year-old Connor Cruise visited dear ole dad on the California set of Oblivion — and Tom couldn’t have been happier.

A source on the set tells RumorFix, Tom perked up when the teenage DJ arrived, saying, “I’m so happy to see you. Thanks for coming. Isn’t it great here?” referring to the picturesque June Lake in the Mammoth Mountains, five hours away from Los Angeles.

Connor, who was dressed in a tank-top and gym shorts, got a personal set tour from his father and there were even rumors that he might step in as an extra — but that never happened. Connor also spent a lot of time in Iceland hanging out with his 50-year-0ld dad while he was filming there.
We’re told Tom is trying to rush through his California filming on Thursday, so that he can fly back to New York to see his daughter, Suri, for the first time since estranged wife, Katie Holmes filed for divorce.
