After this week’s Emmy Award nominations, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison is bummed the ABC reality dating show has yet to make the cut after ten years on the air.
The host told Rumor Fix: “It’s unfortunate. I really wish the show would have been nominated. I think the show very much deserves it. While it doesn’t ever really help your show and your career that much like the Oscars do, it’s definitely an ego thing, and we all have egos, and it would be an honor to be nominated.”
Even without an Emmy nom, Chris says he isn’t worried about the future of The Bachelor.
“I think The Bachelor is proof that we’re doing just fine. We have a huge audience.”
And as for Chris’ favorite Emmy nominee? He says: “I’m voting for Betty White!”
The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will air in September.
