Real Housewives of New York star Heather Thomson is taking to Twitter to set the record straight on a horrible rumor involving the death of her son who suffers from biliary atresia. Someone thought it would be cute to make news of boy’s death a trending topic on Twitter, which eventually made its way to Thomson.

“It’s sickening. A horrific rumor that – thank God – is entirely untrue,” she tweeted. “[An] awful woman put out an awful rumor,” she continued, calling on her followers to block the Twitter user.

      Why can people like this not be charged with some sort of crime. Is there no federal Internet transmission law that can apply? If not maybe there should be and that will help to stop cold hearted people like whoever this lady is. I wonder how difficult of a decision it was to not splash this lady’s name all over the Internet. I would. Let her get a piece of her own medicine.
