The way Katie Holmes is hanging out in New York, you’d never think she was going through a divorce with the biggest A-list star in Hollywood. Still, the Dawson Creek star has been, and continues to be, all smiles while coursing the streets of NY.

On Tuesday night, Holmes was spotted taking her daughter Suri Cruise out for ice cream at Sundaes and Cones in the East Village. And while Suri played coy with photographers, covering her face with a stuffed animal on occasion, Holmes kept a bright smile on hers.
Either Katie has some out-of-this-world coping mechanism, her PR team is genius or she’s just happy as hell to be splitting from Tom Cruise, because she’s never looked happier.
