John Mayer’s granuloma may have derailed his 2012 tour plans, but the guitar maestro can still lip-synch. On Monday, Mayer released the second music video off his Born And Raised album, “California Queen.”
The concept appears to borrow from Matt Costa’s “Cigarette Eyes,” featuring an entire video done in what appears to be one long continuous take. Still, if you watch closely, there are certain points where the video is clearly spliced, but those cuts are not necessarily obvious.
Earlier this year, Mayer announced plans to tour after having throat surgery … but just weeks later, the singer’s granuloma returned sidelining him indefinitely.
