Just two weeks after Jack Osbourne and fiancee, Lisa Stelly, welcomed their daughter Pearl Clemeinte into the world, Jack found out he has multiple sclerosis. And the new dad-of-one opened up to Ryan Seacrest about his disease on Tuesday morning.

Since making the announcement that he has MS, Osbourne says that the response from friends, family, and fans has been nothing but amazing. He reveals to Seacrest, “Everyone’s just come out and been really supportive, loving, and kind which I’m blown away by.”
Osbourne says that MS, which affects the central nervous system, is a “really funny disease” as it effects people totally differently. “Some people can’t walk, some people can’t see. The symptoms are so all over the place. For me right now I lost a bit of vision in my eye and had some shooting pains, but other than that I feel kinda normal.”

The son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne tells Seacrest that he realized he had the disease after he had a long-lasting eye infection and migraine. And a change in lifestyle is really the best way to combat it: Staying away from high inflammatory foods, sleeping a lot, minimizing stress, and working out.
