Let this be a lesson: don’t mess with Oprah! Someone made that mistake on Twitter over the weekend when they asked the media mogul when she was going to “give back to the ghettos in america?”
Oprah, who has donated millions of dollars to charities throughout the United States, immediately fired back this response: ”When are you? I’ve put 500 African-American men through college. And you sir?”
Oprah is the largest individual donor to Morehouse College, an all-male historically black college in Atlanta. Still, she’s received criticism for not doing enough for the blacks domestically while spending millions helping those in need living in African countries.
