Another day, another fabricated story by the folks over at MediaTakeOut.

The website claims there’s a “real beef” brewing between rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West, and that beef came to a boiling point during Sunday night’s BET Awards. According to MTO, Jay-Z was supposed to join Kanye on stage to perform their hit song “N*ggas in Paris,” but Jay intentionally arrived to the show late to screw Kanye.

A “source” allegedly told the gossipers, ”[Kanye's] set was supposed to start with GOOD music’s “MERCY,” then Kanye would come out and do “Theraflu,” then Jay-Z would meet him on stage and they’d end with N*ggas In Paris.”

The source claims Jay-Z’s no show forced Kanye to improvise with a freestyle rap. “It was so last minute that he had to do it [without music] because no one had it ready,” their source explains.

This is especially interesting to RumorFix since multiple sources working backstage during Sunday night’s show tell us Jay was never scheduled to perform with Kanye. “It was always Good music artists scheduled for the opening act. Jay was never scheduled to perform with them,” an insider tells RumorFix exclusively. “They did not appear to be at odds at all,” the source continues, adding, “Both were in good spirits.”

And just look at the facts: Jay and Kanye were practically attached at the hip the entire night. Definitely not a sign of two people in a “real beef.”
