Lawyers attempting to have a lawsuit dismissed against Bethenny Frankel and her Skinnygirl Margarita products have been rejected. A judge with the United States District Court of New Jersey has ruled that the lawsuit against the reality star will go forward.
Attorneys for Frankel attempted, with futile results, to argue that the plaintiffs in the case had a problem with the retailers selling Frankel’s products, not with Frankel directly or the Skinnygirl Manufacturing company.

Several New Jersey women are suing Frankel claiming that her products are not “all natural” despite being advertised as such. The Skinnygirl Margarita brand contains a chemical preservative that prompted Whole Foods to pull the drink from their store shelves last year.
The chemical is FDA approved, but technically makes the drink not “all natural” in the eyes of some.
