Rumors that Chris Brown has dumped Karrueche Tran are bogus, RumorFix has learned. The rumor was initially started by the lords of gossip, fabrication and embellishment: MediaTakeOut.
On Thursday, the website reported the following:
“MediaTakeOut.com just got wind of a CRAZY piece of news. The word on the street is that R&B singer Chris Brown and his GF Karrueche SPLIT UP.
What happened? Well we were told that Chris suspected that Kae had some form of contact with is arch rival Drake. It was nothing ROMANTIC . . . but Kae supposedly had some BUSINESS-TYPE conversations with Drizzy.
And the word on the street is that Chris COULD NOT STAND that she would have ANY communication with the hip hop superstar . .. so he fired her.”
Yawn. Stop it, MTO. You’re making me tired.
A rep for Brown tells RumorFix that this report is bogus, or in his words: “Not true.” The rep adds that Brown and Tran are very much a couple, so until Brown releases a mix tape and tells us otherwise, we’re sticking with the word from his camp.
