RumorFix has confirmed that the New Orleans Police Department has a warrant for the arrest of Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.
The Jerry Maguire actor is accused of pushing a female bartender twice in the French Quarter early in the morning.
The incident happened on the famous Bourbon Street at about 3 a.m., according to the New Orleans Police Department. Cuba walked into the bar with a group of friends and fans started asking to take pictures. The bartender says Cuba began getting aggravated. She asked him to calm down and that’s when he allegedly pushed her away with an open hand. A co-worker then called 911.
The bartender says she told Cuba that the police were on the way — he then allegedly pushed her again and left the bar.
Police have obtained an arrest warrant for municipal battery.
