Christian Bale made a visit to the victims of last Thursday’s theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado on Tuesday, with wife Sibi Blazic.

The actor and Sibi made a secret visit to the Aurora medical center, much to the delight of patients including shooting victim Carey Rottman, 27, who was shot in the leg during the attack.

“Wow!!! Thank you so much for the visit Christian!! What a great guy! Still in shock!” Rottman tweeted afterwards.

Warner Bros. confirmed that Bale was traveling on behalf of himself and not the studio. What a guy!
