Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison spoke exclusively to RumorFix about what fans can expect from the crazy cast of season three.
Chris says one of the biggest characters is bad boy Kalon McMahon from Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette.
“Kalon reminds me in a way of Erica Rose. He thinks what he’s saying is wise and he thinks he’s kind of helping his own cause, but he doesn’t realize he’s only making things worse.”
And what about previews showing Kalon’s arrival at the Bachelor Pad in a Porsche? Was he trying to mimic his notorious helicopter entrance on The Bachelorette?
Chris tells RumorFix: “Nobody even knew he pulled up in a Porsche except for me. It was more for flash, and to be Kalon. Nobody knew his entrance, but they did know his story.”
Fans should also expect some drama from Kalon’s rumored rival, returning cast member Erica Rose.
“She is such a great character. She is the person that turns the heat under the pot and doesn’t realize she’s in the middle of it. She is great TV. She is a lot more savvy than people give her credit for.”
But Erica isn’t the only former cast member to come back for another season. Chris said he was “intrigued” by the return of defending champion Michael Stagliano.
“Michael Stagliano was a fan favorite. He is definitely savvy, he is smart at playing the game. He was a bit of a celebrity when he walked in the house and he was treated as such.”
