It looks like all Chris Brown’s talk of squaring off in the ring against Drake was just that: talk.
A rep for the R&B singer tells RumorFix that his client has not received a $5 million offer from boxing promoter Damon Feldman to fight Drake, and the rep adds that even if Brown’s camp did receive an offer, the fight would never happen.
“This is nonsense and not happening. We collectively have never heard from these people,” the publicist explains. “This is a tacky PR campaign using Chris Brown and Drake.”
Brown and Drake’s entourages were involved in a scuffle last month, where Brown and his bodyguard were injured.
In the weeks following the incident, Brown has released a diss song aimed at the Canadian rapper, and even told RumorFix he would be willing to fight Drake in the ring.
Still, we wouldn’t recommend holding your breathe to see this squabble settled between the ropes.
