90s rapper Vanilla Ice has spoken from beyond the grave and he wants you to know that he’s not dead, contrary to rumors. On Monday, news spread on Twitter that the reality TV star had died in a car crash, a fate met by other musicians this year by virtual pranksters.

News of Ice’s death spread before it could be contained, even reaching his family.

“I don’t know who’s spreading this rumor about me dying in a car crash but – I’M ALIVE ! I have like 30 texts from [my] mom, family and friends.”
