San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker says he too was injured during Thursday morning’s scuffle between Drake and Chris Brown’s entourages. Parker, who is now in France preparing to compete in the summer Olympics, spoke to the press on Friday about the injury, revealing that he got shards of glass in his left eye during the incident.
“I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about … I got it all,” Parker told reporters at a news conference, noticeably rocking a pair of shades.
“The cornea has been touched. I can’t do anything for seven days … But I was lucky. The injury won’t prevent me from competing at the Olympics in any way,” he added.
Chris Brown and his bodyguard Big Pat were also injured during the fight.
