The Unlikely Role Charlie Sheen Just Landed

Charlie Sheen has landed himself a role as the President of the United States – of all things – in the sequel to Robert Rodriguez’ Machete. Rodriguez took to Twitter to announce the exciting news on Thursday night.

“I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better? More soon,” he wrote, adding a picture of himself with the controversial actor.

Principal photography on Machete Kills began earlier this month. Joining Sheen on set will be an extremely colorful cast of celebs that include Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, Danny Trejo and – get this – Mel Gibson.

      Me’s think a certain R.R wants the two controversial actors ahem…not for their skills, but for their publicity at the moment. If so, it could backfire as there are those from the public who really don’t care to give their money to a film that is supporting the two outrageous actors who IMO make a mockery of what fame entitles to them.
