At Rodney King’s memorial service on Saturday, his friends and family were reminded what it was like to be in the presence of a “hero.”
But two very prominent figures were no shows at the important service: civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson and King’s fiancée Cynthia Kelly.

While our on-site reporter tells us no one knew why Jackson, who was supposed to speak at the event, didn’t show up, RumorFix has its suspicion as to why Kelly did not attend.
A source close to King told RumorFix late last week that Kelly would not be invited to the funeral, revealing, “There’s a lot of odd stuff there [with his death], I just knew that there’s more to the story than everyone is saying.” Some members of the King family have voiced their suspicion to authorities that Kelly may be withholding information about her fiancée’s tragic death. King’s daughter, Lora Dene King, told the press “no comment” when asked about the absence of Cynthia Kelly.
