It looks like Lil Wayne’s tweet about being banned from attending Oklahoma City Thunder basketball games is a bit of an embellishment on his part.

On Thursday night, the rapper tweeted to his followers:

“Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!”

But Thunder Vice President of Communication, Dan Mahoney, tells RumorFix that Wayne is more than welcome to attend any of their games, if there are seats available. “Of course we’d love to have him here,” Dan shares.

“His people called a few days ago and wanted only four front-row tickets, but we didn’t have any available for that game. We have a large season ticket holder base and we’d love to have him at a game, but unfortunately, we can’t make up additional front row seats.”
