Missing Actor Nick Stahl’s Wife: My Lover Is Dying Slowly

Posted on June 21st, 2012 at 12:38 pm
True

Although she’s obviously worried, Rose Stahl has confirmed she is no longer looking for her actor husband Nick Stahl, who has disappeared for the second time in two months.

After learning that her husband disappeared again just a week after he checked out of a Los Angeles rehabilitation facility, Rose decided against filing a missing persons report and instead hopes that going to the press will pressure him to come home.

The  mom-of-one took to her blog Thursday afternoon to express her pain during this tragic time:

“I admit I don’t know my own lover’s whereabouts today, again and for the many-eth time in the last 5 months, but I am no longer looking for him. Because then what — then nothing– I have found through trial and error that I am not equipped to handle someone else’s addiction that I love as much as I love him.”

She reveals, “My little family unit separated. My best friend & lover gone doing God knows what.. Dying slowly, and all I know to do is to keep smiling for my daughter.”

Rose admits that she’s an addict too and therefore needs to focus on her own recovery as well as raising her daughter. Rose writes, “I’m giving him to God now. It’s time to stop trying to control the outcome as if I could in the first place.”

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to RumorFix that no missing person report has been filed for Nick Stahl despite online reports. Authorities tell us, “He has not been reported missing to us. It’s up to the family or his wife to report him missing. He was previously reported missing a while back, but that case has been closed. So as far as we’re concerned, there is no open missing person case. We’re not going to investigate on a web posting.”
