
Rapper Meek Mill is defending himself, claiming he was not the one who instigated a fight between Drake and Chris Brown on Thursday morning. A witness at the event claims it was Mill and Drake who started the brawl that ended with Brown and his bodyguard being injured, but Mills has taken to Twitter to vehemently squash that suggestion.
“Stop tryna blame da bullsh*t on me … I was just there like everybody else,” the rapper wrote.
And when another rapper suggested that Mills was involved in the fight, he quickly quipped:
“You gotta chill before you be tweeting my name in some sh*t I wasn’t even really in! Stay in ya lane!”
RumorFix has spoken with several witnesses and none have accused Mill of participating in the brawl, so we believe his tweets.
What exactly did lead to a member of Drake’s entourage hitting Brown in the face with a champagne bottle is still being debated, but the beef between Mill, Drake and Chris Brown stems from the men’s relationships with Rihanna.
Rihanna and Brown dated, and Drake and Mill have both been romantically linked to the Barbadian beauty. Last month, Mill was spotted partying with Rihanna at a strip club, and after Brown learned of their wild night, allegedly removed him from a song on his upcoming album.
