A nasty argument at Beacher’s Madhouse a few weeks ago — ended up with Glee’s Chord Overstreet and actress Emma Roberts breaking up, RumorFix has learned exclusively.

The couple that had been dating off and on for a while were happy in April when Chord literally swept Emma off her feet at the Coachella Music Festival. On May 8, they were still together when they attended Nylon magazine’s Young Hollywood party together. But shortly after that, we are told they caused an ugly scene at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. A friend of the former couple tells RumorFix, “It’s over.”

Eyewitnesses tell RumorFix, “Chord had been drinking and lost his temper. He was cursing and screaming at her in the club and then she threw a drink on his face — and that set him off.”

Friends had to break up the couple, who later broke up. No official word from their reps.
