RumorFix has learned that it was not a good weekend for Teen Mom 2′s Jenelle Evans and boyfriend Gary Head. The on-again off-again couple were arrested for assault and drug possession on Sunday morning after a domestic dispute got out of control.

RumorFix spoke with Jenelle’s attorney Dustin Sullivan, who says the Teen Mom 2 star is extremely traumatized by what happened. He also set the record straight about Jenelle being charged with marijuana possession. ”She was charged with it but it was not in her possession,” says Sullivan. “It was not found on her.”

The attorney also says that is was his client that called 911 several times in the hours leading up to their arrests. “She was definitely assaulted. She is extremely fearful right now of Gary. Jenelle’s the one who called the police that night, several times. We are still trying to find out exactly what happened. She was not drinking at all, and the incident happened at Jenelle’s apartment – Jace was not there. She’s really shaken up right now.”

Jenelle confirms this and also reveals the crux of the fight via Twitter, writing:

“Yes, I left him because he was caught cheating. He did something to me that was physical and traumatizing. I’m just so grateful Jace wasn’t there.”
