Country star Sheryl Crow announced that she has a benign brain tumor and set off a flurry of worry on the Internet.
But her management team tells RumorFix, “Sheryl’s brain tumor is very common.”

It’s called a meningioma. “Half of us are walking around with them, but you don’t really know unless you happen to have an MRI. She has no symptoms and everything is fine,” her rep tells RumorFix.
“It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy,” the rep adds.
