Did Lindsay Lohan Have Alcohol In Her Car When It Crashed?

The details of Lindsay Lohan’s car crash on Friday don’t seem to be matching up, according to several conflicting reports about the incident.

According to TMZ, a container of alcohol was removed from the trunk of the Porsche, but Lindsay couldn’t get in trouble for it anyway as it’s not illegal to have an open container in the trunk.

RumorFix reached out to Sgt. Lewis of the Santa Monica Police Department, who told us the story is nonsense.

“There was no container retrieved from the vehicle,” says Sgt. Lewis. “There was a container found in the debris by the side of the road but that doesn’t mean it came from the car.” As for rumors that police want to interview Lindsay again, Sgt. Lewis said it’s perfectly normal for some witnesses to be interviewed more than once and isn’t unusual.

      sad that tmz is so in desperate need of hits that they have to make up stories about lindsay.  this is the 2nd story from them that has been shown wrong.

        True. That bottle could have fallen off the back of that dump truck! Everyone knows Lindsay doesn’t drink or even go to clubs any more.

        And I heard an unnamed officer said: “Hey, I asked Lindsay if the bottle was hers and she said what bottle so there you have it, right? I mean, we couldn’t exactly dust the container for prints…you got any idea how much that costs? Even us police have a budget.”

          amusing…not.  there is no proof it was her’s.  she was tested and wasn’t found not to have any alcohol in her system.  and even if it was her’s, there was nothing illegal about it for them to “dust for prints”.  my issue with tmz is that the reported it and discussed it as if it was fact, even stating it was found in her truck when it was confirmed by a named detective (not unnamed “sources”) that it was not found in the trunk.  you can go on all you like sarcastically saying lindsay doesn’t drink but fact is that day, she did not have any alcohol in her system while driving.  that is a fact and even tmz doesn’t contradict that fact.

      i love lins and appreciate shes getting her life back in orde.r she was followed by paparrazi and got into a crash. just like how princess diana died. i think thats horrible, where does it end. really
