Debra Messing’s Husband Wants To Smash Her Spousal Support Request

Debra Messing’s estranged husband, Daniel Zelman, filed a response to her divorce petition Wednesday and RumorFix has obtained the court papers.

Everything is pretty straightforward in the filing, except one thing:

Daniel doesn’t want to have to pay Debra spousal support. Although Debra is making a bundle of money starring in Smash and Will & Grace reruns, she may have asked for spousal support as a formality.  Daniel is a writer and executive producer of the show Damages.

The former couple has one child together, Roman Walker Zelman, and they both are asking for joint custody.
