Today is David Arquette and Courteney Cox’s 13th wedding anniversary – and the day they made their separation formal.

RumorFix can confirm that David filed for divorce on Tuesday June 12, citing irreconcilable differences. He is seeking joint custody of their daughter Coco Riley Arquette, who is not going to have the best 8th birthday on Wednesday!

Courteney and David announced their separation in October of 2010, but have remained close friends.
