Are Briney Spears and Demi Lovato feuding on the set of The X Factor? According to various news blogs and gossip magazines, the two singers can’t stand each other because “Demi thinks Britney is a twit, and Britney thinks Demi is beneath her.”

The rivalry between the two pop princesses is allegedly so bad that they lash out at each other while the cameras are rolling. The tabloids claim,”Demi was the catalyst for Brit’s highly publicized march off the set during a contestants awful rendition of  the blonde beauty’s hit song “Hold It Against Me.” The rumors claim Brit-Brit reached her boiling point after “Demi could not stop laughing. She thought it was the funniest thing she’d ever seen–the horrified look on Britney’s face when she heard her song being turned into a mess.”

The gossip magazines also claim Britney has high demands when on the road. “Britney expects three kinds of iced teas, macaroni and cheese, white-meat chicken nuggets, a variety of mini burgers, a platter of Snicker bars, a cotton candy machine and a popcorn machine.”

RumorFix had to read this one over a few times, because we know both the gals are total sweethearts. We reached out to Britney’s rep, Jeff Raymond, who tells us the article is complete malarkey!

Raymond tells RumorFix, “There is absolutely no feud. They get along very well. They had a great time in Austin and sure they will have a good time in Kansas and so on. Those rider items and demands are inaccurate and not true. And she simply took a short break — nothing to do with anything else.”
