RumorFix is excited to announce that former Real Housewives of New York star Alex McCord will be covering the new season of New York for us, starting with the premiere on Monday night.

Alex and husband Simon Van Kempen have been part of the show from seasons 1 through 4 – and now she will share her unique, uncensored perspective with RumorFix.

“The question everyone has been asking me lately is whether I will watch the new season of New York Housewives without me in it” says Alex. “Initially I thought not, but of course I’m curious. Prior to doing RHONY I literally had never seen a reality show, but then became a viewer and have enjoyed covering RHONJ and RHOC for other outlets, so I’m thrilled to collaborate with RumorFix. Given that my perspective is based on knowing how the shows are put together and what maneuvers and rumors go into filming, I think it’s a perfect match.  I’ll offer video commentary every Tuesday following each original episode.”

      Yea!! I’m so happy that I’ll be able to keep up with you in some small way! I’ve been so upset since I heard you wouldn’t be returning, you were getting fiesty! I’ve said before & I’ll say again, I so admired your boldness in facing off with some of the most critical, hateful & yes, I know you hate the 1st part of this word, but, classless women claiming to be ladies I have ever witnessed! While I had been undecided about watching at all, (love Ramona & Sonja)  now I feel I must in order to keep up with your, no doubt, honest & refreshing points of view. Love ya Alex!!

      Please give a Behind the Scenes perspective from someone who I, and I’m sure most people, can stand to look at and listen to. Love the idea for this commentary but honestly I would rather hear it from someone who isn’t so phony and annoying.
