Katy Perry got stuck in her own ticker tape as she performed on stage in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday night. The “E.T.” singer was promoting her new film, Katy Perry: Part of Me!

Wearing hot pants and a bra consisting of two film reels covering her top half, the singer couldn’t stop laughing as the pink and white streams of tape stopped her and her dancers from moving around the stage freely. Despite the onstage craziness, Perry continued performing like the pro that she is.

The pop star’s set included several of her hits to an audience of thousands lucky enough to get a spot at the free mini concert. Once the performance wrapped, the premiere of her movie took place at Hollywood’s famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
