Although fairly well known within the dance community, James Jamari Blackston is now infamous after being arrested in connection with the death and sexual assault of Irish student, Nicola Furlong.
Blackston, 23, was reportedly on tour with Nicki Minaj serving as one of her backup dancers, but is currently being held in police custody in Tokyo.
Blackston has danced with Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas, and also teaches a dance style called “Krump” at the Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio. He goes by the nickname “King Tight.”
Below is a video of Blackston dancing on the Toyko subway. During the clip, the Los Angeles based dancer obnoxiously flails around the train, annoying passengers while his friends laugh loudly in the background.
