“Best of friends” is key in this statement, because according to a source, thats’s all the couple ever was: friends.

A source extremely close to Hilton and Afro tells RumorFix that the two are laughing off the breakup reports because they were never romantically involved in the first place!

“Basically they have never announced a relationship, they have never been boyfriend and girlfriend, so how can he be breaking it off? It is just a fake story,” the friend tells us. “They have and are best of friends and enjoy spending time together when work permits them too, they will be together in the next week at a few events and throughout the summer”
