Earlier this week. RumorFix was first to report that Lady Gaga’s life had been threatened by certain religious groups in Indonesia. Now, Gaga has canceled an upcoming concert in the Muslim country out of fear for her safety.

Mother Monster announced the decision on Sunday morning, writing:

“We had to cancel the concert in Indonesia. I’m so very sorry to the fans and just as devastated as you if not more. You are everything to me.”

Despite the cancellation, Gaga seems on rescheduling her show, adding:

“I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown. #GagaSendsLoveToJakarta and all its people.”
