On Friday, Glee’s Jeff Goldblum was granted a Temporary Restraining Order against a woman, who he says has been stalking him for a decade.
Linda Ransom, who spent a year in a mental institution, has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the actor, who stars in Seminar on Broadway.
In his declaration obtained by RumorFix, Goldblum writes he doesn’t known Ransom nor does he have a desire to be in contact with her. “Over the past decade, I have experienced substantial emotional distress due to Ms. Ransom’s continuous stalking, harassing, and threatening behavior,” he alleges.
The court documents itemize instances in April and May, when she appeared at his home or places where he performed trying to get close to him. “I feel that Ms. Ransom’s recent actions show that she is still operating under her obsessive delusions and that her obsessive, harassing, threatening, and stalking behavior against me will continue and escalate as time goes on.”
A hearing has been set for June 12, 2012 at 8:30 a.m.
