Jay-Z is set to wrap up the summer by launching a two-day music festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the beginning of September.
The “99 Problems” rapper will headline the first annual “Budweiser Made in America” event over Labor Day weekend. The mogul made the announcement during a press conference with city mayor Michael A. Nutter on Monday, telling a crowd of reporters, “It’s gonna be a great day in Philly, I look forward to seeing you guys.”
The hip-hop icon, who will also curate and assemble the rest of the line-up, is set to unveil the remainder of the performers next week. The festival, produced by Live Nation, will take place at Fairmount Park and a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to charity organization United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
