The latest issues of Star magazine suggest that actor Jeremy Renner has been battling alcohol issues. The magazine plastered a picture of Renner looking like a “booze hound” while chugging a cup full of beer.

The tabloid claims The Avengers star has been partying too hard and getting too drunk for his own good.

“During a recent meal at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont, [Jeremy was] wasted and even spilled a drink on his pants and kept saying ‘my balls are wet.’”

That’s not all the magazine is saying about the hunky actor. The tabloid also reports that Jeremy’s hard-partying habits may bring his blooming career to a screeching halt.

“[During The Avengers world press tour] he had all night binges. And his A-list pals said it was scary to see him that over the top.”

But is The Hurt Locker star really participating in the alleged non-stop partying? A rep for the actor says no way, telling RumorFix that the article is “Pure sensationalism!” Adding that the star is “a consummate professional.”
