Dominic Monaghan has launched an astonishing attack on Matthew Fox via Twitter, saying the actor “beats women.”

Dominic and Matthew were co-stars on Lost, but it doesn’t look like they are friends. When a fan asked Dominic to convince Matthew to join Twitter, he responded with “he beats women. No thanks.”

And that’s not all. Dominic goes on to tweet “you don’t know either of us.he beats women.not isolated incidents.often.not interested.”

The Lord of the Rings star is clearly not afraid of the fallout from his comments, saying “it’s very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth.”

Matthew was detained by police in Cleveland last August for allegedly punching a female bus driver.
