Amber Riley is leaving Glee … or at least that’s what a tweet she sent out earlier this week led many to believe.

“I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL’S OUT Glee Kids! Let’s play!” Riley wrote, seemingly confirming talk that this was her last season on the show.

But, as it turns out, the 26-year-old didn’t mean she “going to miss the whole Glee family” forever, just until next season.

“My tweet apparently has been misconstrued,” Amber wrote after learning how her original message had been interpreted. “I was not confirming I was leaving the show. Just stating that I would miss being in the classroom everyday with the cast and that would be changing. Thanks for the support guys,” she continued.

“That’s the good and bad thing about twitter. It can be used to extinguish rumors but it also spreads them like wildfire!” she added.

Just be a little more careful with your words next time, Amber.
