Malibu Sheriff’s detectives want to interview Justin Bieber about an alleged battery that happened this past weekend, RumorFix has confirmed.

The pop star is accused of being involved in “a physical altercation” with a paparazzo who was trying to take his picture on Sunday afternoon at The Commons shopping center in Calabasas, California.

Justin, who was with his girlfriend Selena Gomez, left the scene before deputies arrived — so the sheriff’s department tells RumorFix they are planning to interview the “Boyfriend” singer.

They’ve already interviewed the alleged victim  and they are looking for witnesses. But a source inside the sheriff’s department tells us they consider this to be a “minor incident.”
