William Balfour has been found guilty of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, RumorFix has learned. Balfour was found guilty on Friday evening by a jury of his peers.

Balfour was convicted on three counts of murder, home invasion, residential burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle. The 30-year-old will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Jennifer Hudson’s was the prosecution’s first witness. She attended the trial every day, accompanied by her fiance, David Otunga. A witness says that Hudson began crying after the verdict was read, and her fiance could be heard shouting, “Yes!”

Balfour is expected to be sentenced to life without parole based on sentencing guidelines.
