Brad Pitt has been crowned the new face of the women’s perfume Chanel No.5. Chanel confirmed the news in a statement on Twitter saying,
“Chanel has selected world renowned actor Brad Pitt to be the face of the upcoming advertising campaign for Chanel No.5,”
The popular perfume, whose most famous ambassador was the late Marilyn Monroe, gave no further details other than that this will be the first time the fragrance is represented by a man.

The scent has been previously marketed by stars like Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman and Vanessa Paradis.
