Bobbi Kristina To Make 1st Public Appearance Since Whitney Houston’s Death

Whitney Houston’s only child will make her first public appearance since the superstar’s death three months ago, RumorFix has confirmed.

Bobbi Kristina Brown and Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager, Pat Houston, will make a special appearance to accept the 2012 Billboard Millennium Award on Whitney’s behald.

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards — which will be telecast live on ABC on Sunday May 20 — will also feature a Whitney Houston tribute performed by Jordin Sparks and John Legend.

Here are some of the Billboard records Whitney broke in her short life:

  • First and only artist to have seven consecutive singles hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100
  • First female performer to score a Number One debut on Billboard 200.
  • Only woman who commanded reigns of more than 10 weeks with multiple albums. The Bodyguard (20 weeks), Whitney Houston (14 weeks) Whitney (11 weeks).
  • “I Will Always Love You” was Number One on Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks — becoming the biggest single in pop music history.

The Billboard announcement comes days after Bobbi Kristina, Pat, and Whitney’s mom, Cissy Houston, agreed to appear in a docu series after life after Whitney.
