During Wednesday’s American Idol, Ryan Seacrest made a rare comment about his personal life.

America’s favorite TV host mentioned his girlfriend, Julianne Hough, who Ryan said has a crush on Idol contestant Phillip Phillips.

So, who is this beautiful blonde bombshell, who has won the heart of Idol’s $15 million man?

Julianne gained national fame on the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars, which she won on seasons four and five with Apollo Ono and Helio Castroneves. Her older brother Derek Hough is still a professional dancer on the show.

The 23-year-old then transitioned to the big screen. She had a small role in Burlesque alongside Christina Aguilera and Cher. Then she got a lead role in the remake of Footloose. And, she just wrapped up shooting of Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise.

This reporter has met Julianne and found her to be delightful — and Ryan seems madly in love. Congrats to them both!
