Whitney Houston Death Ruled An Accident, Case Closed

The investigation into Whitney Houston’s death is closed, the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to RumorFix on Wednesday.

Following final toxicology results from the Los Angeles County Coroners office, Lt. Mark Rosen says the cause of death has been ruled as an accident by drowning.

“The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has released their final report on the death of entertainer Whitney Houston.  The Coroner’s Office has concluded that the death was an “Accident” and they listed the official cause of death as “Drowning.”

The Beverly Hills Police Department has conducted a formal investigation and found no evidence of foul play.  Based on the findings of our investigation and our review of the Coroner’s Report we have determined that this is not a criminal matter.  The BHPD investigation has been officially closed.

Our condolences go out to her family, friends and fans who mourn her untimely passing.”
